I grew up in a very loving family. But I was frustrated by the fact that I was born the youngest of the family. I felt defeated and restricted by my parent which really annoys me.
When I was a child, my mother always wanted me to wear those girlish pink dresses and ties my hair into two ponytails with two red ribbons. She made me look like an obedient typical girl. I received a lot of attention and compliments. They always thought that I was quiet and shy and that always make my parents feel proud. I could see the little devil in me, telling me how foolish those people were and how easy they were to deceive. I could hear my harmonious voice calling me, strengthening my desperation for a new identity.
Within the years, I have been given the freedom to explore the world in order to satisfy my curiosity towards all the strange and wonderful things in the world around me.
As I grow up, I tried diligently to overcome my shy nature by participating on some gossips in school and hanging out with friends after class without my parent’s consent. I lied! I told my parents the same old excuses when I came home late. I felt very aggressive! I am so unlike the girl that I used to be. But of course I will never let them blame themselves just because of my changes. I will make them believe in me and help them accept what has become of me.
